Work-Based Learning

Science Hill High School recognizes that classroom learning provides only part of the content knowledge and skills development students need for success in college, career, and life. Work-Based Learning Programs are structured educational experiences that integrate classroom learning (school-based) with productive, structured work experiences (work-based), which are related to a student’s career goal, program of study, and employability skills. These programs include internships, apprenticeships, co-ops, shadowing experiences, guest speakers and business tours, the possibilities are endless.  Any student who is interested in participating in educational experiences should speak with your counselor and/or contact Mr. Adrian Smith, WBL Coordinator at SHHS smitha@jcschools.org
