Career and technical dual enrollment is an option for secondary students to earn industry certifications, which count as credits toward a high school diploma. Career and technical dual enrollment is available for secondary students seeking a certificate or degree and industry certification through a career education program or course.

  • Schools:
    • Northeast State Community College
    • TCAT (Tennessee College of Applied Technologies)

The Process

  • To begin this process, you must have the following:
    • Be a junior or senior
    • Have a GPA of at least 3.0
    • Scored a 19 or high on all subparts of the ACT​​​​​​
  • Schedule a meeting with your counselor to receive the paperwork that you will need to complete.
