Local business industries, and organizations often contact JC Schools seeking to hire local students while still in high school on a part-time basis. Those listings can be found on the SHHS Counseling page under the Local Job Postings tab.

There are also many industries that may be hiring though they haven’t advertised through the JC Counseling website.  These opportunities may include positions in trucking, digital arts, hospitality and tourism, and more. The JC Chamber of Commerce lists many current job openings at: https://cca.johnsoncitytnchamber.com/joblisting.aspx

There are also many employers in the area that have let us know that they are always hiring and willing to train hard working individuals.
