Class Registration for
Rising 9th Grade Students
Parents are invited to attend the Rising 9th Grade Parent Meeting inside the auditorium at Science Hill High School on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
- Students with last name beginning with A-M, the meeting will start at 6:00pm.
- Students with last name beginning with N-Z, the meeting will start at 7:00pm.
The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss class offerings, the class registration process, graduation requirements, and other related topics. Any parent who intends to enroll their student in Science Hill for 9th grade may attend; current enrollment in the Johnson City Schools District is not required.

In addition to the parent meeting, all rising 9th graders are required to attend an individual 4-year plan meeting. During this separate meeting, you, your student, and an advisor will discuss requirements for the next four years of high school and register for 9th-grade classes. Students must bring their Chromebook to the 4-year plan meeting.
