Book Club

The Science Hill Book Club will be reading The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold for our October book. We will meet to discuss the book on Thursday, October 24, at 3:00 in Room 515. Everyone is welcome, but please make sure to stop by Mrs. Reaves’ office on Counselor Row to pick up the required parent permission form. Hope to see you there!

Girls Soccer District Champs!

Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team on their 6-1 victory over rival Dobyns-Bennett to win the District Championship.

Girls Lacrosse Interest Meeting

Attention all girls interested in playing for the Science Hill Girls Lacrosse Team. There will be an interest meeting on Tuesday, October 15th right after school in Mr. Dockery's room, 909 in the CTE Building. Come and be a part of the newest Science Hill sport team. No experience is necessary, so come to Mr. Dockery's room on the 15th and join the Girls Lacrosse Team!

Girls Soccer

Science Hill Girls Soccer completed a conference sweep over rival Dobyns-Bennett Monday night winning 3-2. Led by Brenna Overbay with 3 goals; Kenzie Moore and Addie Meek each had an assist. Science Hill is in action tonight at West Ridge for the first round of the district tournament.

Voting Registration

SH is hosting a voter registration event next week for all students who are or will be 18 on or before November 5. A table will be setup in the cafeteria during all 4 lunches. You will be able to register electronically using either your Chromebook or phone. Registration does require your full SSN as well as other information. Registration ends on October 7th so if you want to vote in this upcoming Presidential Election, you have to act fast!

Fields of Faith

Free pizza! You are invited to Fields of Faith on Wednesday, October 16 ( the Wednesday after fall break). Gates open at 6:00 PM on the visitor’s side and Freedom Hall entry of Kermit Tipton Stadium. Bring a blanket, towel, or lawn chair to sit on the field. There will be student-led testimonies, a student-led praise band, and guest speaker, Evan Wolfe. Please RSVP for the pizza by Monday, October 14 via the QR code on the hall screens.

ID Reminders

Students: Reminder that Ids are to be worn around your neck and visible at all times. You must be wearing this year's photo ID (dated 24-25 school year) and only be wearing your ID, no one else’s. If you need a new clear sleeve or lanyard, please go to the Main Office or the Hub.

Student Parking Passes

Students who do not have a current parking pass (dated for the 24-25 school year), please make sure to come by the Hub during lunch to pick one up! Tickets will start being handed out on Monday for cars that do not have a CURRENT pass. Parking passes are FREE!
